37.88 miles @ 19.2 mph

We've had unseasonably reasonable weather here in Ohio now for three days in a row, necessitating three back-to-back hammerfests with the regular weekend group. It was still cold (in the 30's), but sunny and tolerable.

Now I'm by no means the strongest in the group - well, okay I'm probably the slowest but I put everything into every ride and I'm getting faster every weekend. Today I tried to win the sprint to the top of the main hill on our route today, which surprised a few folks (including me). I was the first to the top this time but there were two guys grimacing as they stayed latched onto my wheel. My goal for the spring is to be the first up that hill and drop the whole friggin' group. Bwahahaha....

Three hard rides in a row with no recovery has wiped me out. Relaxed and stress free but wiped out. I hate to say it, but I'm actually a little relieved that snow and cold is settling back in for tomorrow so I will be able to get a good long recovery ride in on the trainer. That's crazy, just crazy.
