That's not what happened. The OP tried to buy a new sprinkler from the plumbing guy. The plumbing guy said "We're out of stock, but wait a second". Plumbing Guy then proceeds to pull a screwdriver out of his back pocket and pick out the easily accessible piece of crud jamming the sprinkler, and hands it back to the OP, who goes to leave. No, I don't think Home Depot should be paid for the "Sprinkler Repair".
