Its great to see that you have a realistic budget for all the extras.

I agree that the caad 9 is a great bike, but if you don't have plans to race, it is probably more aggressive of a ride than you want.

Felt makes some great bikes. F95 is in your price range... I would also look for last years (or two year old) models at discounted prices, you may be able to get a step or two up in components.

My best advise would be to visit every store you can and ride as many bikes as you can... in and above your price range... so you can get an idea what you get for the money.

If you find a bike for $900 with 105 levers and derailleurs and you like the way it rides, and it fits, BUY IT!

Do Not buy a bike that does not fit, no matter how smoken the deal is.
