your better off not riding in Honolulu traffic is bad, once out of Honolulu you shouldn't have to many problems.

I have a home on the big island (6 years) and i still have not worked up enough courage to ride, most people who live on island use most traffic laws as a suggestion, along with the narrow shoulder not a good combination
