I got the accelerate and attempt a right hook a few weeks ago. I was on the road bootin' along no problem. He pulled onto the roadway after waiting for me to pass then goes around me and hook right with no signal. I followed him right around the corner, leaning on the front of his van (elevator repair) for emphasis. He stops just around the corner, slamming on his brakes. We 'discussed' his driving.... especially the fact we were the only two objects on the road and that he had waited for me to pass. Contrite and apologetic, he went his way I went mine.

I find most who do this kind of move are shocked when confronted by near victims. I've seen the colour drain from faces as the realization hits them they came "this close" to killing or maiming someone. I get no satisfaction from these 'discussions' but sometimes you just gotta tell them. It can have a beneficial effect, I'm certain some drivers really do wake up somewhat afterwards.
