I searched all the information I have and can not find a Bushwacker model listed in the US. However, the Bushwacker was sold in Canada. BTW, I don't believe your serial number indicates the bike was made by Giant. I think that was just the number assigned by Nishiki that happens to start with a "G". That's a really nice Tange 2 frame. Sorry, I can't nail down the year, but I'd guess 1991. Maybe you can nail down the year using the vintage-trek.com site to date your derailers and thus, arrive at the vintage of the bike.
