Bill, the Painted Ladies are on Alamo Square and the picture was taken from the south end of Dolores Park. They're about a mile apart, but the view of the downtown skyline is similar from both locations.

Hey Scooper! What a great photo! I was across the bay in El Cerrito and saw the other sides of those buildings from very far away. It was great seeing you at the bike swap at the Cow Palace last weekend. Bigbossman and BlankCrows said you crossed their paths somewhere there while I was selling all of their stuff so I'm glad you met up with them. It was good to unload a lot of the surplus. I had a great time at Cow Palace. BlankCrows had sent me a PM that he and BBM would both be there so I was looking forward to seeing them. I picked up a really nice alloy 27.2 seat post for $7.00 that I put on the Waterford. I've been paranoid about overtightening the seatpost binder bolt and cracking the CF Campy seatpost, so I swapped them this week and now the Campy post is in a drawer swaddled in bubblewrap.
