damn, i cannot keep up with this thread! that is why i never look in here

i have wanted an ohlins shock for many years....long before FS was prevalent on bicycles. so much of it stemmed from myself just having to have this shock.

in all honesty, the riding i am currently into would probably work well with air. like 66 said, i do like the feel of coil...for forks. this is my first shock, so i don't have a comparison.

i think for long 24hr races maybe coil could be more reliable?? aren't you screwed if a shock seal goes for air shocks? ...but then you have extra weight.
