Depending on how far you ride it is a good idea to put fuel in the furnace. A warm cup of tea, some food and that will also help to keep you warm for the ride......As Buzzman and others suggest, riding in the cold helps us in other winter pursuits and other winter pursuits help us to ride warmer......one of the key indicators to eat more on a winter camping trip is being cold..........so, fuel the furnace before leaving........
