Actually, there's enough flex in the stays of the older C'dales to squeeze in a 130mm rear hub (my '86 has been fine for years with an 8-speed on it); I'm betting that this seller has never heard of cold setting.

More egregious to a geek like me though is the seller's fraudulent claim that it is a 1988 Criterium frameset - Cannondale didn't make that design change (cantilevered dropouts, 3.0 series, etc.) until 1989.
