I am building a Jack Taylor tandem for a couple of friends of mine. In looking for parts for the build, I found a guy with a cache of vintage tandem stuff. Anyway, while talking with him on the phone Sunday he says "if you're into this old stuff, I've got a few other things I'd like to get rid of." Among the items he's trying to liquidate is this Rickert. He says it is built with Columbus tubing and is of 70s vintage. It is definitely too small for me, but it is not doing anyone any good hanging in storage. Anyway, I've heard of Rickert and did a quick search, so I know more now than I did when I was talking with him. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with this breed? Is it something I should consider snagging to trade or resell? BTW, he did not quote a price.
