Started cycling this year in February--March started trying to commute. Since then I have lost a tiny 18 pounds. So my goal for this week is one little pound.
To accomplish--commute to work Wed-Fri and do another 40-50 miles on Saturday chasing hubby on his bike.
Terribly frustrated that my HRM says I burn 2k - 3k calories per day getting to work and back, yet 1lb per week is about the best I can do. Suggestions are welcome...
:WELCOME: Glad you are here - come on in and join us... first off post your starting weight. I know! Scary... then your goals for the week. One pound is awesome.. better than gaining. Why not lose 1 pound a week and by end of January you will be 6 pounds lighter! end of Feb 10 pounds!
