Great suggestions, thanks. Rockwood Special Park looks promising - I'll look into the other suggestions as well. I'm thinking we'll take three days from Antietam to DC, and two days to ride back. I found 25 miles/day was about perfect for scouts on the towpath; an easier start and longer days at the end should work out.

Most likely we'll start on Sunday, taking us into DC mid-week.
