Lots of foods are easy to turn into sugar. Your diet has to be different than someone who isn't having problems with their blood sugar. And while a little wine isn't bad for people that have their sugar under control remember Alcohol turns into Sugar in your blood. Diabetes doesn’t play fair and diet and exercise can help. Rest when you need to. Watch what you eat. Exercise helps but you can’t carb load the same way someone that isn’t pushing diabetic can because you have to be sure to burn all the carbs you are loading, because carbohydrates turn into sugar as well. There are plenty of online resources or you can subscribe to Diabetic Magazine. I agree with the poster that said natural energy sources would work better for you than manufactured energy products. But whatever you do don’t stop exercising and keep you weight down.
