I embrace my Fred-ness.
I carry a tube, a CO2 inflator AND a frame pump, a complete tool kit (Topeak Survival Gear box), a cell phone, $20, and sometimes a spare tire. I wear plain jerseys in safety orange, blinding yellow, red, or blue. I will never race. I need to lose 5 times what my bike weighs in fat. I think moustache bars are cool. I own more than 2 sets of bar end shifters - including a NOS set of SunTours. I hate Shimano, Trek, and Cervelo.
