It fits my P7 (same one as pictured) without trouble. I don't try to slide it in, I just push straight down and it snaps into place.
I didn't even consider that approach, I'll give it a try! This light is a bit too jiggly in a Twofish Lockblock, so I'll be happy if it fits in the 8274.
