That's awesome.
We just started up a team last year and we don't have enough dedicated racers to go and do something quite as intensive as that, hence my bumming it with family in virginia to race and do group rides to get my strength up for the spring.
I got bored of working and got on the trainer for a bit today. I think my FTP is higher than I have it set for right now, and my numbers are getting better as my tolerance for the pain and monotony increases.
I did about 255 watts for 10 mins (FTP is set for 250) before I overheated in my room and had to open a window to let some cold air in. Got back on the bike and did 227 watts for 20 mins. Some of my best numbers yet. I've learned to start relying on PE a little more now too since I feel like I'm holding myself back if I concentrate on the numbers instead of figuring out what feels good and then going from there.
