When we first started riding again early last year, I couldn't understand the "parts bin" concept. I wondered how one ends up with so many spare parts just from owning a bike! Of course, I also hadn't been bitten (yet) by the N+1 bug. Now that I have N+2 (where N = the first bike), I completely understand. We now have a large box full of spare parts. Including 3 or 4 handlebars (I think they alone tell a story...). NOW I understand!

I think I packed 2 spare saddles in that box...
