Hi! I just bought a new road bike for college, and I'm worried about it possibly being stolen...

So best way to lock up the bike?

I bought a Kryptonite cable as well as the New York lock.

The U-lock is quite large, and I heard stories that that is bad, and allows for people to use it for leverage. I would lock the bike up with the rear wheel and frame, and loop the cable through the frame and front wheel...

Any other precautions + safety I can take?
