Not a BMXr at all...just think the helmet makes sense for my type of riding .... Actually I ride various steep decents on the E. side at a good clip (around 35mph or more). Will also use this helmet for wind/ car noise proofing to ride along 520 hwy trail. Bunny Hopping a curb or 2

Already carrying a backpack...and I go through a 20oz bottle per 2 hour...maybe some sort of straw that retracts into the water bottle would work...instead of more weight on the back (water in a camel back).
