And does anyone know of any good Century rides in Florida not too far from Orlando? I have had one bike accident in which I severly bruised a rib. It took about six weeks to recover from that. I am in Florida for the winter and want to get started as soon as possible.
Simple: Learn to stand up and pedal in a high gear. It increases Blood Flow to your body.
Learn to eat and drink while Riding.
See how far you can ride before stopping.
Just get out there and ride.
Take one or two days off each week.
You will come back strong.
Ride for miles not speed untill you get a 100 mile completed.
