Absolutely nothing but since hard core roadies pretty much dictate what we are supposed to be doing, they are frowned upon . Their logic is that 8 ounces will cause them to lose a .2mph and for them, that is unacceptable. I use them and if I bought a bike that didn't have one, I would go buy one.
