Perhaps simply a wider shoulder everywhere, and educating motorists to SHARE THE LANE, and to merge onto the now-wider shoulder when turning to avoid the right hook.
Absolutely. I'd be alot happier if they scrapped the idea of bike lanes entirely and just focused on getting motorists up to speed with the educational side of things.
Or if they just dug up portland and airlifted it on top of Toronto. That'd work for me too.
