Probably, but I'm 174 lbs. and don't have stiffness issues with the Red crank (nor my 7800, obviously). Plus, I don't believe there is a BB30 version of the 7800. If you want to go 7800, just get a regular CAAD9 frame now.
There's a supposed stiffness benefit to BB30 cranks but I haven't ridden any so I can't compare the regular Red cranks to the BB30 Red cranks.
