I have always just picked up the bars and placed them against my shoulders to see if the drops line up with the protruding parts on the front of my shoulders. You guys say it's called an AC joint.

I have noticed that my shoes don't fit as well as they used to, my bibs don't fit, jerseys don't fit, everything has changed. I am riding at one of my lowest weights since riding in high school....

I used to say get the bars that matched your suit jacket size as well. Mine were always 42. bars and suit jacket. I went and bought one back in August and noticed that I was now fitting much better in size 40 jackets....

.....so with these thoughts going around in my brain and reading this thread I decided to pick up the tape measure and measure.....40cm on the nose.

I don't feel like re-doing every bar I have, and know that I don't need to...more of a preferance thing, but I may try a set of 40cm bars for poops and grins this year.
