3rd ride in this week and there was traffic coming up behind me at one of the lights. The street has nice wide lanes for most of my ride, but splits it into two lanes at the light (one for left turns). So I "took the lane" and surprise (for me anyway), the driver, didn't honk or crowd me. he stayed a decent distance back, and waited to pass until the wide lane returned on the other side of the intersection. I've read that it works this way, but seldom experienced it
