Check that it is Ti-- I had a Steel frame I bought in 94 that was (From Memory) Exactly the same as your frame. Made of Fuji Steel and weighed 3.1 lbs. It came in two finishes- Ti and Nickel- I got the nickel plated.
Handled very well and it was one of the early Taiwanese imports to this country.
magnets do not stick to it, but i dont know if that rules out steel if it is plated. maybe try sticking it to the inside?
