[QUOTE=politicalgeek;8052524]Thrift Store wool works great.

I'll start dressing for the ride home and get hit with the synthetic smell of my base layer, the wool smells fresh.[/

+1. I've had wool sweaters smell lovely, even though I haven't washed or dry cleaned them in years. And that's after pouring lots of sweat into them, and wearing them as a base layer.

But do you wear wool in hot weather also? I always thought it would be uncomfortable, but I never actually tried it.
