I get a headache every time I read more about these chargers! Between the different types of chargers, batteries and lights you can easily overwhelm yourself with product opinions - as well as vrying conflicting opinions on how to use them.

I bought the LaCrosse BC-900 last year from Thomas Distributing after researching the 2 chargers you're looking at. The first one quit after a month or so and never did receive a reply from the LaCrosse customer service department. Thomas answered right away, and got me a replacement out right after they got the defective one. I'd highly recommend buying whatever you get from them due to my experience with their customer service department.
