I had a Bell rack when I first got into cycling, did not last too long. The way the bikes were held on was by a plastic snap thingy, I think they use this system on their hitch mount carriers as well. Anyway the plastic snapped off when it got cold out, actually one set snapped off over the summer just from repeated use. I have an allen rack now and now with the purchase of a new(er) car I plan to get Thule roof racks. Spend the coin and get a decent rack its worth it.
