in need of HUGE shoe covers. help please

I am in desperate need of a pair of shoe covers. The rest of my winter cycling wardrobe is adequate enough to get me riding in 20-25 degree weather. All i'm missing is something for my feet.

My feet start to get cold around 35-40 degrees so i would like something that could keep them warm down to maybe 20 or 25, but not anything really crazy cold.

The trouble has been finding something that even remotely fits. I wear a 49 sidi genius road shoe. I recently picked up a pair or size XXL Pearl Izumi cyclone shoe covers from the LBS. I'm not sure about the sizing chart for these but I've heard to order a size bigger than you need. While anyway, they are extremely tight and i can't get them zipped up in the back and therefore will be returning them.

I have a real problem now. I miss my bike and want to get out there and ride, there's no snow right now so nothing is stopping me. Can anyone recommend anything that you think might work.

Thanks
