Azusa Canyon Road. 12-15 mile climb averaging 7-12% grade going straight up. This alone developed my appreciation, respect, and skill of the whole climbing aspect of cycling. Because of this, I was able to conquer pretty much any So Cal hills encountered during group rides and centuries in 2008: Pacific Island (Aliso Viejo), Torry Pines (La Jolla), Solvang, Mount Baldy (Upland), etc.
