If anyone cares, I made a rather substantial change to my Cross-Check since I last posted on this thread.
I was not getting along with the drop bars. Period. They just weren't as cozy as I'd imagined. So, I went back the the One One Mary bars I ran on my Bad Boy. This change took a little time and cost me a few bucks, but after it was all said and done the bike now feels just the way I had dreamed it would.
There are no fitment issues or questions now....the bars made all the difference in the world. I would also like to state how I prefer the new location of the shifters and brake levers.
