If you have ever played with wheel building or tensioning, it would be a snap to give it some attention. If it runs true, you are probably in good shape and it would be easy to make sure about the wheel.
Ditch a perfectly good wheel just because of a spoke sound? No way. Might be a good time for you to learn to play with wheels (it is an infinitely useful skill).
