painting with createx auto-air

i'm thinking of stripping and airbrush painting a frame with createx auto-air paint. this stuff seems to be pretty durable, but it's also a bit pricy, which has got me wondering if it'll be worthwhile, or if i should just spring for a powdercoat.

has anyone painted a frame with this stuff? how many ounces did it take? how durable did it turn out?

failing that, does anyone know a good powdercoater in minneapolis?
