The most reliable car EVER used as a Taxi in Australia was a GM car with a Nissan motor and gearbox but it was never that popular as a Taxi. So much for hard nosed business men. I owned a Diahatsu Charade which travelled 300.000 km trouble free and that was with a 3 cylinder, 1000cc motor. So much for big motors being more reliable.

I do concede that Asia makes the most reliable cars but America makes some good cars and trucks as well. I just bought one about a week ago in fact and it has been pretty close to perfect.
