While it's always nice to share interests with your partner, I think it's asking for trouble to make up a big "shopping list" of what you want -- the list has a way of growing, and you can easily lose sight of what's most important. I think relationships work best when the partners are self-sufficient adults who have an appreciation for each other's passions, but who do not necessarily need to share them.
