Dunno about Iceland, where the OP lives, but in my area you've got two choices: 1) listen to the advice of a minimum-wage bike shop employee who knows more about ATBs than road bikes, or 2) pay $100-150 for a professional fit plus $30-80 for a stem. Personally, I'd rather spend $40 on an adjustable stem so that I can test and fine-tune my fit at my leisure.
