FWIW, I can't tell any difference between my BB30 S-Works cranks and my S900 cranks (w/Quarq) on the same bike. That said, between the adapter and the heavier bb & crank, it's about a 3/4 pound penalty to be running that crank, so I look forward to the S-Works compatible version of the Quarq.
