I'm with you guys on the motivation problem in chilly weather.
I'm currently riding 2 - 3 days/ week and one of those is on the rollers. I need to start ramping up now for Spring though with long distance. 50 miler coming up Friday and another 50 miler on 1/9 and hopefully longer and longer until 2/1 when I'll start throwing some speed into the mix. To do this I need at least one partner to help motivate me. Thankfully, I have several good ones.
Next year, I want to peak in April or May not August. If I can do it you guys can too. Now's the time to start planning your long, slow distance...
