frankly, your bike is not built well enough to handle your weight and the load you could fit in those baskets and be a safe daily rider. look at the front forks on your bike and the ones on the schwinn in the picture. give that bike to your lady and find a schwinn cruiser to load down. the schwinn in the pic is not a very collectable bike so you should be able to find one pretty cheap.
