The White Lightning setup will clean the chain without taking it off the bike. When it shows up, try it a few times to see how much effort it takes and how well it does the job. The towel method works without removing the chain, too. Try that a few times. Find what works for you, given the terrain you ride and the amount of cleaning you are willing to do. I ride about 80 miles a week, only on pavement, and clean my chain once a week. Pro Link is my preference. bk
