Went out for a nice ride. Planned on doing some climbing on a road I had just heard about over the holidays.. After my 2nd small climb i look back and see a group of riders. I knew they were going to catch me so I just kept at my pace. Sure enough they pull up beside me but don't overtake and they stayed on my wheel for a short time. Looked back and they were gone. I'm not sure why they didn't overtake. So I get to my hill.. Pine Flat Rd.. After climbing for a few miles I see the group again but this time only 4 of them As they pass...It's Levi in the lead...so i get on the last guy's wheel and check out his Calfee Bamboo frame for a few minutes. Then I realize I'm riding sort of with "him".. I got dropped about 8 minutes from the top..but i did manage to fend off a few of his posse....
I was kind of nervous to ask him for a pic mainly because I'm sure lots of people ask him and I was sure he was probably sick of people asking... I did and he was really nice. I think I even heard him say "nice ride" to me..
Yes I now realize my helmet strap is kind of long and will fix it ASAP.
