I thought of this as a long term answer but for 2-3 years it's not doable. I'm doing a mid-life career change, 2 more yrs of school on savings from last job. Spending what I have already was an extremely bad idea unless I recover some not-using-the-car money.

How aero can practical bents be? As good a a road bike with aero bars? Headwinds are really p***ing me off.
