I've found that ,to some measure, bike path & rec cycling is not the focus of most forums. These are
family and senior activites. So if it's bike path info you want/need contact your state's transportion
office for info as I did. My state (Illinois) has great bike path maps of trails and activities for family/path
rides along with a strong cyclist organisations (found on the web) to promote cycling. They will be your
best resource for the kind of info you seek.
Sadly, most forum dicussions will, in time, degenerate into discussions about equipment and which bicycle
is best/better for given activity.
