If it makes you feel any better, the days here near Seattle have been gray, wet and cold for the last month. The roads are covered with grit from the snow removal efforts. I got out this past Sunday and the temperature was 35° F/1.6° C. Blighty doesn't have a monopoly on crappy weather.
