If you mount the levers on the end of your bullhorns the brake cables will be facing forward which means you will have to "loop" the cables back around towards the bars to get them to run along the bars, if you mount the levers backwards the cable will not need a loop and will face the bars and run smooth and clean along the bars.
If you mean mounting them to resemble TT/reverse-pull levers, that is what I am planning on. The clamp will be on the very end, and the lever will point toward the back of the bike.
