I had them too and it was riding in complete silence! Super scary. like semi's coulda honked 2 inches from me and I wouldn't have heard it. also not good for sirens which I think are one variable that even a great rider can't always account for as far as running lights and such. Now I ride sometimes with some cheapie buds but low volume and half in my ear.
