Actually the Ergomo had the best computer head I used. It was why I sold my original SRM and gave it a shot. Great display, big numbers, and a lot of flexibility.

If the Garmin lacks this it's a bit of a hole.

I like the Quarq working with the Rotor crank BTW. That's a nice unit.
The garmin does this. There is a lap button and you can get immediate readings, overall averages, and lap averages. It doesn't have lap maximums as far as I remember though.
