Decisions, decisions. Half the fun of buying a new bike is the research. Since someone doubted my genuine interest in a new bike, I will describe where I am at. The 2009 PowerTap SL+ and SLC+ are the first with interchangeable free hubs so that you do not have to re-spoke the wheel when moving between Shimano and Campy. I have 3T Ergonova LTD Carbon Handlebars with 3T Arx LTD Stem on order which selected for the S3. Since the S3 is history, I am going to cancel this handlebar and stem. I am going to select their replacements based upon which frameset that I select. Tonight I stopped by Lickton's Cycles to look at Campy gruppos. I have settled on the 2009 Campy Record Gruppo. So I now need a frameset that works with those components. The S3 is history once again so I am looking at my options.
